Therese Carolyn Bradbury graduated from Western Carolina University in North Carolina where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics. She is a flute and piccolo player and was part of marching and concert bands throughout high school in Murphy. During this time and throughout college she worked for a dance studio as an instructor. After college, Ms. Bradbury returned to her hometown where she worked for her local chamber of commerce.
Therese (pronounced thuh-REECE) moved to Knoxville in June of 2017 where she worked as the Executive Assistant at the Farragut West Knox Chamber of Commerce. Therese joined the staff at the Joy of Music School in 2018 as the Finance and Special Events Manager. In 2020 she was promoted to Advancement and Finance Manager. Ms. Bradbury has over 10 years experience working with children and the arts and has worked in the nonprofit arena since 2015.
Therese has recently received her Fund Development Certificate and Marketing Certificate from the Alliance for Better Nonprofits (ABN). She is currently pursuing her Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Memphis and is on track to become a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) by the end of September 2021.
