Avery Martin is the Front Desk Coordinator at the Joy of Music School. She is a senior at the University of Tennessee, where she studies Sociology and Psychology. Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, Avery has been a music lover since childhood. She began playing upright bass at age twelve and has performed in both classical orchestras and bluegrass bands throughout her school and college years. She also has a passion for working with children, with experience in elementary schools in West Tennessee and coaching volleyball for young girls here in Knoxville.
