Kristina Pollard was born in London, England, and moved to the United States at the age of four. Raised in Southern California, she spent much of her life throughout the western United States before relocating to Knoxville, Tennessee, in 2021 to pursue a career in philanthropy at UT Medical Center. With more than 20 years of professional experience across multiple industries, Kristina brings a diverse background in business operations, technology, relationship building, and creative problem-solving. Over the past seven years, she has focused her talents on the nonprofit sector, serving in roles spanning operations management, database analytics, event coordination, and fundraising.

Naturally curious and a lifelong learner, Kristina is a self-described “what if” thinker who loves connecting people, exploring new ideas, and turning possibilities into action. Although she has no formal musical training, she has a deep appreciation for music in all its forms and believes in its extraordinary ability to inspire, connect, and transform lives. At the Joy of Music School, she is excited to combine her professional experience, creativity, and passion for people to help open doors of opportunity for young musicians in the Knoxville community.
