Joy of Music School Announces “Dining for Joy” – A Night of Music, Food, and Fun
Proceeds Support Tuition-Free Youth Music Programs
Knoxville, Tenn. – (February 5, 2024) – The Joy of Music School is excited to announce a delicious and musical springtime event, Dining for Joy, on April 18, 2024, at 6:00 PM in Marble Hall at Lakeshore Park.
This sumptuous toe-tapping event is a delightful springtime evening of music and food, plus some raucous retro fun–all for a great cause. Diners will be treated to delicious entrees and side dishes, then serenaded by young students from the Joy of Music School, and finally, energized by Knoxville’s ultimate 70s and 80s party band.
Tickets can be purchased at joyofmusicschool.org for $75 each, which includes dinner and live music.
Event proceeds support the Joy of Music School’s mission to provide tuition-free music education to area youth who need it most.
Dining for Joy has a limited number of tickets available for $30 that provide access to the live music portion of the evening only, and no dinner. Either way, you’re in for a musical feast!
Real Good Kitchen will provide a unique, Knoxville-centric dining experience featuring mouth-watering fare prepared and served by our very own supremely talented local chefs. This one-of-a-kind, buffet-style dinner will be enhanced by refreshing spring-themed cocktails and mocktails.
The night will be filled with entertainment, starting with a special performance by Joy of Music School students performing on the Marble Hall stage. Then, Smooth Sailor, a wildly popular Knoxville-based band, will step up to perform uncannily authentic covers of rock favorites from the seventies and eighties.
“Dining for Joy is pumping up the party like never before,” says Francis Graffeo, Executive Director of the Joy of Music School. “Our students will shine on stage, as they always do. Then, Smooth Sailor will get everyone on their feet. This will be a ton of fun for everyone!”
